Travelling a path which takes rock 'n' roll back to its primal beginnings, 20 Miles and Doo Rag brought their fucked-up take on the blues to Australia for a couple of shows in January 1998.

20 Miles is Judah Bauer, guitar-slinger for the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, joined by brother Donovan on drums. This is loose blues, old time rock 'n' roll in its rawest, simplest form, from two scrappy motherscratchers outa Wisconsin.

20 Miles toured Australia early in 1998 with Doo Rag. Chocolate Joe and Bob Log, who make up the band, are from Arizona and present swamp gunk gutter trash 'n' bashing. Creating instruments out of found objects, Doo rag are a unique musical entity that mucks around with traditional blues and rusty roots rock 'n' roll in all its archaic abrasive glory.
